Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Plan, conduct, and manage internal audits across all departments to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain factory readiness for customer audits, third-party audits (IATF, ISO), and VDA 6.3 assessments.
- Act as the primary interface for customer audits and external auditors, ensuring professional and transparent communication.
- Lead the digitization of quality systems by transforming manual processes into automated, traceable workflows.
- Manage QMS documentation and records control, ensuring accuracy, global alignment, and audit-readiness.
- Lead or support root cause investigations and ensure timely and effective closure of CAPAs for quality system deficiencies or audit findings.
- Coordinate Management Review Meetings and report on QMS performance using defined KPIs and risk-based metrics.
- Support supplier quality assurance processes including audits and compliance reviews when applicable.
- Mentor cross-functional teams on auditing, compliance, and quality culture development.
- Stay updated with evolving automotive quality standards and proactively adapt the QMS to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and achieve plant-level quality objectives and strategic improvement initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Certified IATF 16949 Internal Auditor
- Strong knowledge of VDA 6.3 process audit methodology
- Expertise in QMS implementation and maintenance
- Experience with Customer Audits, Internal Audits, and Documentation Control
- Ability to conduct quality training for cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with automotive quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA
- Deep understanding of quality standards in automotive interior components
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English is mandatory
- Prior experience in automotive interior components (highly preferred)
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
