Quality Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for their manufacturing facility near Akron, OH.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the plant's quality program 
Ensure assembly operations meet company and customer specifications.
Manage new processes and implementation in regards to new product launches
Participate on plant continuous improvement initiatives 
Participate in customer meetings
Participate in quality reporting and management review process.
Provide process improvement recommendations

Qualifications

BS/BA from an accredited college or University required; technical degree a plus!
3+ years’ experience within the manufacturing sector within an engineering or production background that includes a strong quality metric focus.
Experience with formal Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement projects
Six Sigma Green Belt training or certification highly preferred.
Strong software experience with software systems such as Minitab or other statistical software packages
