Quality Automation Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the design of automation test strategies aligned with business or program goals.
• Evolve predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products.
• Collaborate to refine the scope of manual and automated testing, creating automated test scripts and user documentation.
• Design and create a low maintenance suite of stable, reusable automated tests for end-to-end capacity.
• Apply testing and delivery standards while understanding the product development lifecycle and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to the transformation of testing using quality processes, tools, and methodologies to improve control, accuracy, and integrity.

Skills Required:

Must-Have:

• Strong experience in Automation Testing for APIs and backend services
• Proficiency in API Testing using tools and frameworks like Rest Assured
• Solid programming skills in Java for test automation development
• Hands-on experience in creating and executing automated test scripts
• Good understanding of Test Automation Frameworks and best practices
• Ability to design and implement end-to-end automated test scenarios

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with SoapUI for SOAP-based web service testing
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar for test integration
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices in testing environments
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
