Quality Automation Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust test automation strategies aligned with business and technology goals
• Develop and maintain a scalable, reusable automated test framework with a focus on API testing
• Write clean and modular automation scripts using Core Java and OOP principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Lead initiatives to introduce intelligent and predictive testing techniques that enhance test efficiency
• Ensure compliance with delivery standards, regulatory requirements, and product development lifecycle processes
• Monitor and optimize automation suites to reduce test flakiness and improve speed and reliability
• Advocate for best practices in automation, quality assurance, and testing across teams
• Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing tools, processes, and methodologies
• Mentor junior QA engineers and support their development in test automation practices

Skills Required:

Must-Have:

• Strong hands-on experience in API automation testing
• Proficiency in Java and deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts
• Experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Sound knowledge of test strategies across various delivery models (Agile, DevOps)

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo)
• Familiarity with containerized test environments and cloud-based testing platforms
• Experience with performance, security, or integration testing is a plus

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
