Relevant experience in operations, quality and/or R&D

Manage and develop a team of quality and sanitation professionals
Monitors Quality Systems to ensure compliance to food safety and regulatory requirements for all in process and finished goods
Maintain robust food safety programs (e.g HACCP and pre – requisite programs)
Routine and primary interact with regulatory representatives at the facility
Leader of the Integrated Lean Six Sigma Quality Pillar, driving to a defect eradication culture
Ensure deployment of fact–based internal auditing program
Lead a robust Corrective and Preventative Action program to drive continuous improvement.
Actively supports the Plant's Daily Management Systems (DMS) with focus on driving quality improvement across the product profile
Develop and maintain quality key performance indicators (KPI’s) and track accordingly
Lead monthly quality management system review with plant leadership team
Implement Consumer Inspired Quality programs such as sensory programs, quality culture and analytical equipment upgrade and maintenance.
Ensure standard work through development of work documentation and training to standards
Ownership of customer/consumer complaint investigation
Leader for SSMT investigation at the plant and escalate the early warnings per policy.
Minimum 7+ years of Quality experience in food / pharma industry.
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership position in a Manufacturing Plant
Education: BS Food Science or related required
Proven leadership experience required

Experience with sanitation is required
Experience with compliance systems, food defense systems, audit and budgeting
Experience with GFSI – FSSC, Organic, Kosher, and Rainforest Alliance implementation and compliance is required
