Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and implement a robust quality strategy aligned with business objectives and agile SDLC processes

Work closely with engineering teams to integrate quality practices throughout the development lifecycle

Drive best practices in quality assurance, including CI/CD integration, shift-left testing, and test-driven development

Mentor and coach QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify quality gaps and define solutions. (Hands-on if required

Monitor and report on quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
 

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in QA processes

Experiences and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

12+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 4 years in a leadership role

Excellent mentoring, coaching, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automated testing
