Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Core Java
• Conduct API testing to ensure data integrity and accurate service communication
• Perform UI and backend testing for complete application validation
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test requirements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Document test cases, test data, defects, and maintain detailed QA reports
• Identify quality risks, suggest improvements, and ensure timely resolution of issues

Skills Required:

• Proficient in Selenium and Core Java
• Strong experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• Knowledge of UI testing frameworks and approaches
• Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
