This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of Decisioning applications collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues and continuously improve the processes, leveraging best-in-class AI tools and other technology to deliver actionable insights.
Key responsibilities will include building sustainable reporting, simulation, monitoring, testing, quality assurance, and control of Next-Best-Action strategies as well as supporting data analysis efforts.
This role will utilize quantitative analysis to address critical business issues and support strategic decision making for the company.
By employing innovative analytical and statistical methods, the role will support the team’s efforts to use data to better explain the profile and key drivers of consumer behaviours and translate those into actions that can be operationalized.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the implementation of various changes in Pega NBA environment, including the implementation and quality assurance of Charter’s engagement policy to define rules around eligibility, applicability, and suitability of various actions to ensure that individual customers receive the best recommendation given their unique attributes.
• Requirement Analysis – Perform impact analysis on new requirements and translate simple requirements into strategies as well as complex strategies into implementable design on various tools
• Simulation and Reporting – Develop reporting and simulation to demonstrate the offer qualification among various segments to guide decision making on NBA strategies as well as displaying opportunities for fine tuning the requirements
• NBA Configuration – Develop new actions and treatments in Pega’s Customer Decision Hub; refine and enhance existing NBA strategies through new content, rules, etc.
• Quality Assurance and Monitoring – Perform various Test Case Designing and Agile testing activities (Automation/Manual Testing / Exploratory / Unit / Smoke)
• NBA Support – Support implementation, testing, QA, business simulation, Next-Best-Action reporting, monitoring, and control
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues and continuously improve our processes in Pega NBA environment:
• Conduct thorough and comprehensive testing of decisioning applications to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
• Continuously monitor and improve quality assurance processes
• Utilize strong understanding of offer strategies to ensure decisioning applications meet requirements expectations
• Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and plans
• Analyze and report on test results, providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and results
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand project requirements and provide input on design and functionality
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of testing processes and results
• Work with project managers to prioritize and manage testing tasks and timelines
• Continuously strive for excellence in quality assurance and promote a culture of quality within the organization

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets using analytics tools/software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of data manipulation and BI tools
Expertise in SOAP and RESTful web APIs, including tools like ReadyAPI or Postman.
Ability to communicate technical details and business findings in a clear manner, Sharp eye for detail, disciplined and organized
Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL; proficient in other desktop applications
Ability to identify process improvements, manage multiple projects at once, and organize effectively
Proven ability to understand specified standards, strategies and business requirements and design test plans based on this information
Required Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related Business discipline
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
10+ years’ experience with focus decision systems testing (User Acceptance Testing), reporting and/or data analytics with at least 5+ years’ experience in data quality assurance and testing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of direct marketing and/or sales/operations/digital marketing optimization.
Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services.
Experience with Pega (or similar AI software/tools); particularly Next-Best-Action (NBA) decision engine and Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH)
Experience in develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and plans for Pega Decisioning testing on the tool and other software environments
Experience in analyzing and reporting on test results, providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements
Experience with Amazon Redshift database query development
Experience with software applications (such as Postman) that allows developers to test, document, and share APIs
Experience with software development platforms (such as GitLab code repository and collaborative software development platform)
