Job Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced professional input to complex Q&A assignments/projects.
- Assist in the preparation and conduct of Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new or modified applications/systems across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server).
- Participate in the analysis and development of new or revised QA procedures and processes.
- Assist in the preparation and conduct of QA reviews and the development of test plans and test scripts.
- Provide help desk support to client and IT technical staff in resolving QA process or procedure questions and required documentation.
- Participate in the review of QA procedures and processes and the development of QA metrics for assessing the quality delivered application software or systems.
- Assist in design and implementation of QA software and systems and the development of effective testing plans through consultation with clients and IT technical staff.
- Support and provide direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring "expert” level technical support from others.
- Exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.
- Utilize in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Quality Assurance & Testing.
Skills and Experience Required:
Required:
- 5+ years' experience testing Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports
- Expertise in applying agile methodologies and principles to software testing, ensuring efficient and effective testing practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing test management tools such as Jira to effectively plan, track, and manage testing activities, ensuring seamless collaboration, and streamlined workflows
- Strong experience in System Integration and end to end testing
- Experience and continuous testing mindset in CI/CD environment.
- Experience in Test management tools like Jira, Client ALM.
- Solid analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated and a quick learner
- Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
