QA Tester

 Design and implement QA process including test planning and defect management using black box testing, System Testing, functionality testing, GUI testing, integration testing, backend testing, performance testing, regression testing, user Acceptance Testing, test planning, test execution, and bug tracking system on both Windows and Unix environments. Develop test programs using COBOL, JCL, VSAM. Identify and monitor systems defect using infrastructure monitoring tools functions and various components (TSO/ISPF, Adapters, Document Direct and Client Central tools). Monitor all batch jobs on Mainframes for scheduling environments. Fetching data from Mainframe files and filtering the data using test conditions from file manager. Create reports on data conversation files, creating cheat sheets and FTPing files to import into spreadsheets. Participate in release planning meetings and provide demand prioritization. Travel to various unanticipated locations in the United States to interact with clients and train end users for short or long term assignments
