Description

 Roles & Responsibilities-

 

Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for banking onboarding application


Analyze the application functionalities, find opportunities for automation, write requirement document with close interaction with business / operations team(s).


Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the software meets business and technical requirements.


Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools (Ms Azure DevOps)


Knowledge of postman or similar integration testing tools for System Integration Testing.


Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality.


Perform regression testing to verify that existing functionalities are not affected by new releases or updates.


Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other quality assurance activities.


Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established processes and standards.


Prepare and present test reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates to project stakeholders.

 


Mandatory skills:

 

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with web and mobile based application testing.
Experience in System Integration Testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
 

 

Desired Skills-

 

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies

Education

Bachelor's degree
