QA Test Analyst

We are seeking a QA Test Analyst with expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management . The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, tools like HP ALM and JIRA, and experience with SQL queries for back-end testing and data validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, test strategy documents, test scripts, test scenarios, and test matrices for WCB Applications.
• Manage defects using tools such as HP ALM and JIRA, ensuring efficient tracking and resolution.
• Support QA activities throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring testing milestones are met.
• Execute tests, analyze test results, and generate comprehensive reports to identify system issues.
• Estimate testing efforts and provide precise estimations to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Perform back-end testing, including data validation, data analysis, data migration, and SQL query execution to support testing requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Proficiency in HP ALM and JIRA for test and defect tracking.
• Strong analytical skills for test result evaluation and reporting.
• Experience in data validation, migration, and SQL query execution for back-end testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium or TestNG.
• Experience in performance testing and optimizing test execution.
• Knowledge of industry-specific compliance standards related to WCB applications
