QA Test Analyst

The QA Test Analyst I is responsible for supporting software quality assurance efforts by developing and executing test plans, identifying software issues, and documenting results. Working closely with the development and product teams, this role ensures that system modifications and new features meet functional and quality expectations. This entry-level position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity and usability of systems, particularly within the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts based on project requirements.
• Test system modifications and enhancements in preparation for production release.
• Create and maintain testing documentation including test plans, test scripts, and test result summaries.
• Utilize JIRA and Confluence to track software defects, document bugs, and follow up with development teams on resolution.
• Identify, analyze, and document functional issues, usability problems, or performance inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration of solutions.
• Plan test schedules and strategies aligned with project scope and timelines.
• Monitor defect resolution and provide input to continuous quality improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 0–2 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, specifically Financial Services Cloud.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.
• Ability to write clear, concise test documentation including test plans and results reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret test outcomes and provide actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Basic understanding of databases and backend testing.
• Familiarity with usability testing and customer-centric test scenarios.

Certifications (if any)

• No certifications are required, but ISTQB Foundation Level or similar certifications are a plus.

Education

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required
