Description

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Certification by the American Society of Quality is required.
  • Technical coursework related to blueprint reading, GD&T, application of AS9102 in a manufacturing environment, and personnel management strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of quality assurance experience required, preferably in a build-to-print manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of Aerospace Quality Manager experience required.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing required.
  • Knowledge in elastomers a plus.
  • Intimate knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, D6-51991 standards, ASME 14.5:2018 standard and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of compliance.
  • Analytical and creative skills to find solutions to problems.
  • Proficient using PC and software applications.
  • Advanced mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Sense of Urgency.
  • Ability to work on numerous projects at once.
  • Strong interpersonal and personnel management skills.
  • Ability to manage across cultures in a diverse environment.
  • Metrology and use of measuring equipment: calipers, micrometers, press, scales, compression gauge.
  • Understanding and knowledge of MSA and Gage R&R.
  • Understanding of CMM/CMS reports and subsequent population of results on FAIR’s.
  • Preparation of inspection plans.
  • Ability to develop, maintain and improve a First Article inspection process
