QA Functional MS SQL Tester

Loc - Mumbai / Bng / Hyderabad

◦ Understanding requirements from a business perspective to be validated through testing and assessing them in the context of an Agile/Scrum delivery model & reporting defects
◦ Understanding of the SDLC activities expected to deliver custom developed and packaged applications;
◦ Knowledge of the most common functional testing concepts and challenges;
◦ Experience creating and executing both regression and feature test cases.
◦ Demonstrating through verbal and written communication skills;
◦ Demonstrating experience using Azure DevOps for test and defect management;
◦ Being able to work in a fast-paced environment with ambitious deadlines;
◦ Demonstrating ability to work with multiple teams (onshore, offshore, and/or nearshore).
◦ Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the UAT phase. Supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases.
◦ Exposure to API testing is good to have.
◦ Understand requirements and identify the scope of testing and raise questions and concerns for missing or invalid requirements.
◦ Estimate tests accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.
◦ Create test cases as per the test strategy for manual and test suites.
◦ Adhere to the test plan and design test cases/data/procedures as per the plan and execute them.
◦ Coordinate with program and development management teams in product development lifecycle to guarantee quality and adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.
◦ Analyze and verify best manual test approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation and system testing.
◦ Answer technical issues to resolve and follow up on issues.
◦ Record test results and verify software bug fixes against accept functional acceptance criteria.
◦ Exposure to MS SQL/Database testing is mandatory. Should be able to create complex database queries for data and dashboard validation
