QA Engineer

Job Duties:
Provide Positive Train Control (PTC) Systems Engineering on critical and complex problems identified in production. Provide solutions or work around for critical and complex issues. Be involved in providing design recommendations to PTC systems and design on Back office server and Dispatching systems. Responsible for performing Safety Hazard analysis on the design and solutions provided. Be involved in analyzing and reporting Safety critical issues and Derailments caused due to PTC. Review Business Requirement Documents and the Functional Specifications. Prepare Test Plan from the Business Requirements and Functional Specifications. Participate in PTC Field Testing. Provide technical support of existing systems using Access Management tools, Macros, SQR and Oracle RDBMS. Conduct modification of Application Engine programs and Component Interfaces to support the modules. Scheduling jobs and processes to upload and maintain data in the IDM system. Perform Unit and end to end testing for the customizations done to the systems. Document all support tasks (test cases etc.) in adherence with CMM level
standards.

Job Requirements:
Requires Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, or related field. Requires 1 year of experience with JIRA, Redmine, Tableau, and Python in job offered, Software Consultant, IT Engineer, Senior Software Engineer or related occupation. Requires travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations in U.S.
