Position Overview/Responsibilities for the QA Engineer:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases
- Manage the defect management process in collaboration with the development team
- Utilize tools such as qTest, JIRA, and Confluence as part of the QA testing process
- Provide a strong client presence, ensuring clear communication and effective reporting
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams
- This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension

Required Skills for QA Engineer:

- 6-8 years of hands-on QA testing experience, preferably in Financial Services applications
- Familiarity with Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) regulations is preferred
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as qTest, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience with Azure is strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction
- Candidates located within the Eastern time zone are preferred, with a preference for those in the NY Tristate area
