The Impact You Will Make Here
 

  • You will help enable sellers to be successful in our thriving collectible gaming marketplace and their own stores by providing them best-in-class tools to manage their inventory, listings, pricing, and more.
  • You will lead complex software feature testing through the Agile software development lifecycle by implementing tests, metrics, and quality gates to ensure the definition of done is met.
  • You will collaborate closely with engineers and participate in code reviews to constantly improve the quality of our microservices built in C# and .NET 8.
  • You will gather and analyze software requirements, shaping them into actionable items for testing and automation.
  • You will improve the stability of our platform and enhance our ability to safely and quickly introduce new features by shoring up our automated regression test suites.
  • You will document and communicate your progress effectively to your peers and manager.

What You Bring to the Team
 

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant industry, or Relevant Master's Degree plus 4 years of relevant industry, or 11 years of practical experience.
  • Experience testing microservices deployed in Kubernetes and AWS
  • A desire to understand and take ownership of the full quality process, working with the team to ensure test plans are covered across the unit, integration, system, contract, etc.. tests
  • Hands-on development experience in one or more back-end object-oriented programming languages (preferably C# and TypeScript)
  • Experience automating testing of REST API and Kafka contracts
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright
  • Experience with Contract Testing (using Pact)
  • Experience with event processing mechanisms such as Kafka
  • Experience with automating tests (load, API, integration, functional) within CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with load testing, preferably with JMeter (and BlazeMeter)

Education

Any Graduate
