QA Automation Engineer

You Are:

UST is searching for a QA Automation Engineer focused on designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality and efficiency in the development lifecycle.

The opportunity:

·       Driving the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process

·       Collaborating with development teams to identify testing requirements, establishing test strategies and implement automation frameworks.

·       Designing test plans and test cases.

·       Designing and developing automation scripts to validate functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of software products.

·       Creating automated tests for web and mobile applications, including initial test designs and reporting results.

·       Monitoring and automating software testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

·       Maintaining and executing automated testing scripts to ensure software meets client needs.

What you need:

·                Experience: Medium / Senior Experience in requirements analysis.

·                Experience in designing and creating test cases based on requirements.

·                Experience in preparing test data.

·                Experience executing, recording, and evaluating test case results in Jira is preferred.

·                Experience reporting bugs and generating reports in Jira is preferred.

·                Experience creating filters and dashboards in Jira is preferred.

·                Experience working with agile methodologies.

·                Experience working with traditional or waterfall methodologies.

·                Experience in functional testing, smoke testing, confirmation testing, regression testing, and UAT/Acceptance Testing.

·                Experience reviewing tests executed by third parties (automation team).

·                Experience in defect tracking and management.

·                Experience with Confluence.

·                Knowledge of APIs.

·                Knowledge of JSON, XML, and log file types.

·                Knowledge of Putty tools, FTP file management, and remote connection.

·                Knowledge or experience in tax reforms, preferably Costa Rica (PLUS)
