QA Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing test plans and write / execute test cases for functional and/or performance testing our software solutions.
• Participate in an Agile development environment / Scrum team.
• Work to meet project schedules, timelines and deadlines.
• Provide accurate estimates to assigned tasks.
• Contribute ideas to project planning.
• Build a deep understanding of the products that will require scrutiny for quality assurance.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of CSS, XPath selectors.
• Working knowledge of Windows / Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge in test case management and bug tracking systems such as JIRA.
• Understanding of the testing STLCs.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate projects to determine best approach/methodology to ensure delivery of a quality project.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Analyst.
• 3 years experience with automation tools such as Selenium, jMeter.
• 2+ years of experience with Web Services testing.
• Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Experience programming in Java.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Experience working with/testing databases (SQL, Oracle, DB2).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
