Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Python Django Developer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance, support, and enhancement of a business-critical application. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable web applications using Django and AWS services, and managing infrastructure with Terraform. This role involves maintaining and enhancing our existing web application architecture, ensuring seamless integration with AWS cloud infrastructure, and managing database systems.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Django.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Utilize AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, and S3 to deploy and manage web applications.
• Implement AWS API Gateway and Lambda for serverless functions and backend logic.
• Manage Route 53 for DNS and routing configurations.
• Use Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure as code.
• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases hosted on RDS with a focus on performance, reliability, and data replication.
• Integrating Docker into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Set up and manage monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for backend applications.
• Ensure application reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Provide robust operational support for the application, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
