Python DevOps Engineer

You Are:

UST is searching for a Python DevOps Engineer who will design and implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway.

The opportunity:

·       Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation,  CDK.

·       Write and optimize Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and cloud resource management.

·       Ensure application and infrastructure security best practices using AWS IAM, Security Groups, and network policies.

·       Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across AWS cloud environments.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices into development workflows.

·       Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in deployment strategies, observability, and scalability.

What you need:

·       4+ years of experience as a Python Developer, with a strong focus on DevOps and cloud automation.

·       Expertise in AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).

·       Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy).

·       Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, AWS CDK).

·       Solid understanding of security, and monitoring in cloud environments.

·       Familiarity with agile development practices, Git workflows, and DevOps methodologies.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.

·       Preferred Qualifications:

·       Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar
