Python Developer with Automation

Responsibilities

• Understanding the requirements and developing test cases for all product use cases.
• Analyze Test Goals and Objective – Regression test suite to validate weekly releases.
• Generate Test Plan, Test strategies, Test Scenarios/ Scripts.
• Assist in creating automation framework to retrieve data from AWS/Cloud Watch.
• Parse data to map and validate to back end data sequence.
• Accelerate automation framework using Selenium/Appium for real time data dashboard.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze test results and identify patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios and compile detailed report.
• Able to review test plan and test design, and lead a small group of testers.
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, microservices, distributed systems, AWS, Kafka, Cassandra, Redis, etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and modern infrastructure tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Github, stash, etc.
• Excellent communication skills in English is required in both spoken and written form.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience required; BS Computer Science Degree or equivalent degree required (Minimum 3-years of education for degree).
• SDET with Strong Python coding and automation experience with voice models/assets ios Automation experience and testing with mobile devices, phones, laptops, Bluetooth accessories.
• Experience testing REST API’s in a distributed microservices environment.
• Experience developing test frameworks/tools and automating test cases in Python/Pytest, Selenium, Go, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience troubleshooting issues, logging bugs in JIRA, and interacting with cross-functional dev teams and relevant stakeholders to get the issues fixed.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field.
