Python Automation QA

Responsibilities

• Develop an automation roadmap and helps initiate the right framework and maintain the existing automation suite.
• Empower the project test teams to do their own automation with the help of right tools and strategies.
• Develop, modify, and execute automated scripts and programs for testing.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

Required Skills

• Strong QA Automation skills required.
• Capital market knowledge would be preferred.
• Strong communication skill is a must, must also have ability to interact with business (non-technology) stakeholders.
• Need good analytical skills, ability to understand requirements/stories and can independently design positive and negative scenarios and test cases to cover functional and non-functional aspect of scope.
• Must have excellent communication.

Required Experience

• Must have experience in Python & Java language.
• Must have experience in developing automation scripts, function at Service layer & UI layer.
• Experience setting up automation testing frameworks from scratch in open source (Python) and .Net/C#/SQL environments.
• Experience with Azure.
• Hands-on T-SQL to create complex queries with complex joins for testing purposes.
• Experience writing detailed test plans using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Using SQL/T-SQL to develop testing tools.
• Could be an added advantage if previously worked on Cloud based applications/projects [preferably in AWS].
• Data warehouse Project experience.
• Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries and debugging SQL functions & procedures.
• Experience of working in agile processes/environments & familiarity with Jira.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
