About the Role
As a PTC Creo Design Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing Creo and Windchill software environments. You will provide expert-level technical support, ensuring seamless CAD/CAM functionality and effective design data management. Your role will involve troubleshooting, user training, and enhancing design processes to meet business needs.
This is a 6-month B2B contract with a strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize Creo and Windchill software environments to ensure stability and high performance.
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support to Creo and Windchill users, including troubleshooting, training, and documentation.
- Support CAD/CAM functional activities, including:
- Solid/Surface Design
- Inheritance, Family Table, Relations, and Parameters
- Skeleton Modeling, Top-Down Design, and Layer Management
- Advanced Drawing Techniques and Repetition Tables
- Windchill Integration (Check-in/Checkout, Workspace Management, etc.)
- Map Key and FDU Creation
- Part, Assembly, and Drawing Template Development
- Basic Concepts of References and Geometric Tolerances
- CAM Functionalities: Defining Milling/Turning Features and Understanding CAM-Post Processor-Vericut Interactions
- Manage design data and version control within Windchill, ensuring compliance, security, and change management.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in PTC Creo and Windchill PLM.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Creo Parametric (part, assembly, drawing), MBD, and Creo Simulate.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.
- Experience in CAD/CAM functional support and design optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest advancements in Creo and Windchill technologies.
- Fluent in English and French.
