PTC Creo Design Engineer (Functional CAD / CAM)

About the Role

As a PTC Creo Design Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing Creo and Windchill software environments. You will provide expert-level technical support, ensuring seamless CAD/CAM functionality and effective design data management. Your role will involve troubleshooting, user training, and enhancing design processes to meet business needs.

This is a 6-month B2B contract with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Creo and Windchill software environments to ensure stability and high performance.
• Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support to Creo and Windchill users, including troubleshooting, training, and documentation.
• Support CAD/CAM functional activities, including:
  • Solid/Surface Design
  • Inheritance, Family Table, Relations, and Parameters
  • Skeleton Modeling, Top-Down Design, and Layer Management
  • Advanced Drawing Techniques and Repetition Tables
  • Windchill Integration (Check-in/Checkout, Workspace Management, etc.)
  • Map Key and FDU Creation
  • Part, Assembly, and Drawing Template Development
  • Basic Concepts of References and Geometric Tolerances
  • CAM Functionalities: Defining Milling/Turning Features and Understanding CAM-Post Processor-Vericut Interactions
• Manage design data and version control within Windchill, ensuring compliance, security, and change management.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in PTC Creo and Windchill PLM.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Creo Parametric (part, assembly, drawing), MBD, and Creo Simulate.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.
• Experience in CAD/CAM functional support and design optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest advancements in Creo and Windchill technologies.
• Fluent in English and French.
