Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects from inception to completion.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, developers, and technical professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business priorities.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to maximize productivity and achieve project milestones within budget and timeline constraints.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and oversight, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and meet quality standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between technical teams and key stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns proactively.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices across the technology organization to enhance efficiency and delivery excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (16+ years) in managing technology projects or teams, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, ITSM methodology and Project Management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Clear understanding of network topology concepts is a must.
- Solid technical background with hands-on experience in any Infrastructure services technology is a must have (Datacentre Technologies such as Wintel, Linux/Unix, Backup and recovery, Database, Middleware, Network, Information security and IAM technologies, cloud technologies as Azure)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- ITIL and Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Relevant technical certification for technology supported is a plus.
Experience and participation in DR plan development and DR Drill execution is plus
