Develop and maintain comprehensive project work plans and timelines
Oversee vendor project team and ensure appropriate resource allocation
Ensure timely submission of all deliverables, reports, and change requests
Serve as escalation point for project-related issues and risks
Coordinate regular project status meetings with Client stakeholders
Submit weekly status reports and monthly roll-up reports
Prepare meeting agendas and document meeting minutes
Manage project budget and resource utilization
Coordinate with subcontractors (if applicable)
Ensure compliance with all Client security and operational requirements
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Experience: Minimum 7 years of project management experience
Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
Industry Experience: 3+ years managing IT projects in public sector/educational institutions
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, etc.)
Experience with governance frameworks
Knowledge of IT strategic planning processes
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Availability: Must be available for emergency communication during off-hours
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large-scale IT transformation projects
Knowledge of educational technology environments
Experience with NYC government contracting processes
