Project Manager

- Primary Responsibility: Managing and delivering a complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams to a strict delivery schedule.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Hands-on technical project management with development staff and business groups.
- Coordination and communication with ITD management and staff.
- Collaboration with vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Maintenance of project budget, plans, tasks, schedules, risks, and status.
- Ensuring documentation of requirements and use cases.
- Managing project milestones and deliverables.
- Defining, measuring, and communicating progress with metrics.
- Supporting system and application training efforts.
- Requirements:
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing large projects.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models.
- Expert knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management principles.
- Balanced business/technical background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
