The IT Project Manager (ITPM) oversees various Agile projects and/or programs of a highly complex nature.
The IT Project Manager works on problems of diverse scope and moderate complexity
They oversee the interdependencies, integration of interrelated projects, set strategies, manage budgets, contractual commitments, and lead project/program execution to deliver longer term business value.
The IT Project Manager (ITPM) works side-by-side with the Product/IT leadership team to develop the project plan, manage timelines and action plans for the execution of new initiatives, project improvements, processes, and implementations.
This individual works with cross-functional teams, including Clinical and Information Technology (IT) teams, and some external teams, as needed.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated examples of being a problem solver, is highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, and exhibits a high level of initiative.
The individual in this role works both independently and as an essential member of a collaborative team and can manage multiple projects of varying levels of complexity.
Position Responsibilities
The Project Manager’s primary function is to facilitate coordination among all teams responsible for execution and production. The individual in this role coordinates and ensures the timely and orderly flow of all Medicaid projects assigned, from initiation to completion.
Document and capture all Medicaid State Requirements for Care Management (CM) and Utilization Management (UM) Scrum Teams.
Collaborate with Humana stakeholders/Product Teams/IT to create a project plan, to include sequencing of work and creating milestones with timelines.
Identify and document barriers/risks, challenges, opportunity areas, and key considerations to develop a solid project plan.
Develop mitigation plans for identified risks/issues using the ROAM methodology
Escalate risks to the appropriate partner(s) for timely resolution
Be able to seamlessly blend Agile and Traditional Project management frameworks.
Generate project reports for teams, summarize project timelines, issues, concerns, and needs.
Partner with Product Leadership to regularly communicate project status, highlights, risk/issues, and all must-know information to internal and external stakeholders, in a timely manner.
Communicate responsibilities, assignments, and deliverables to team each week, and at key points throughout projects.
Lead weekly (or more frequently if necessary) meetings with project stakeholders to ensure accountability and timely delivery of campaigns
Have outstanding planning skills and the ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays in projects
Manage all financial aspects associated with Project Management, to include creating Resource Plans, Time Entry tasks, Professional Services/HW/SW Cost Plans
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of traditional project/program leadership experience or equivalent experience
2+ yrs experience being a leader within a SAFe methodology framework
Experience with Medicaid Projects
Excellent communication skills
Experience with managing Agile programs at the solution level

Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration
SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Advance Scrum Master (SASM) or PSM/CSM
