Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable for development, execution, monitoring and control of project plans, including verification and validation of project deliverables quality.
- Successfully manage multi-site, multi-vendor, external and internal projects within schedule, scope, budget and quality parameters.
- Identify, communicate, mitigate and manage risks and issues for successful project delivery.
- Manage ongoing programs as assigned to ensure all objectives meet client expectations, service level agreements and contractual obligations.
- Develop project proposals and offer recommendations for improvement through automation, process design and human capital management.
- Contribute to overall PMO initiatives as directed, regardless of specific program or agency assignment.
- Accountable for internal and external project progress reporting as prescribed by the Program Management Office standards and Capgemini executive leadership.
- Develop and deliver formal communications (briefings, reports, etc.) with executive stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong client, customer and account team relationships.
- Undertake annual continuous education, training and awareness to ensure understanding of technological change.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of information technology project-based work experience as a Project/Program Manager, managing simultaneous complex projects.
- At least 2 years of managing relationships with large client decision-makers.
- 2+ years of successful business process improvement experience.
- Advanced analysis and reporting skills to render information from disparate data.
- Proficiency in managing competing priorities to successful outcomes.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills.
- Proficiency with project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based, collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of industry-recognized project management disciplines, methodologies and best practices.
Desired Skills:
- Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
- IT Infrastructure project management expertise.
- Lean Six Sigma experience.
