Project Manager

Our client is in search of a Project Manager to join our growing team that will be responsible for the creation and ongoing management of a master project plan for all required activities related to the creation of tissue processing facility located in St. Louis, MO. This position is a critical team member and will work cross functionally with the quality, regulatory, operations, and finance teams. The Project Manager will be required to maintain organizational project plans and focus key stakeholders on achieving critical milestones. The ideal candidate must be organized and have experience in project management within a regulated industry such as human tissue, medical devices, biologics or pharmaceuticals.
  
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop the Master Project Plan and sub plans as needed to support the development of the facility and related processes in accordance with industry standards (including AATB, FDA, cGMP)
2. Develop and update detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocations
3. Lead weekly project team meetings to communicate project status, updates and milestones to the project team and executive management.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
5. Drive accountability for project deliverables
6. Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
7. Ensure project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately
8. Utilize electronic project management tools to track progress
    

Experience & Qualifications

1. 3+ years of relevant work experience
2. Experienced project manager in a regulated life sciences company (human tissue preferred, or medical device, biologics, pharmaceuticals)
3. Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
5. Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices
