Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Coupa Procurement Application Implementation for a large-scale digital procurement transformation project, The contract runs until December 2025, and the role requires hands-on project leadership, procurement process standardization, ERP integration expertise (SAP ECC/S4HANA), and stakeholder engagement.

 

The Project Manager will drive the end-to-end deployment of Coupa modules, align procurement processes with business needs, ensure supplier enablement, and manage the overall project roadmap.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Management & Execution:

      •     Lead the Coupa Procurement Application implementation from initiation to go-live, ensuring project delivery aligns with business and procurement goals.

      •     Oversee the rollout of key Coupa modules, including:

      •     Coupa Source-to-Pay (S2P) (1500 users)

      •     Coupa Procurement, Sourcing & Risk Management

      •     Coupa Expenses (2000 users)

      •     Coupa CPO Collaboration & Storefront

      •     Coupa Spend Guard & Services Maestro

      •     Coupa CLM Advanced & Open Business Network (OBN)

      •     Optional: Coupa Advanced Analytics & Coupa Invoicing

  • Ensure seamless SAP ERP (ECC/S4HANA) integration with Coupa via middleware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business adoption, process automation, and procurement efficiency.
  • Monitor project risks, budget, and scope while ensuring timely delivery.

 

Procurement Process Optimization & Supplier Enablement:

  • Develop standardized, user-friendly procurement workflows within Coupa.
  • Lead supplier onboarding & enablement to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement best practices and corporate governance.

 

Stakeholder & Change Management:

  • Create and execute a change management strategy, ensuring smooth adoption across procurement, finance, IT, and supplier management teams.
  • Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder alignment sessions.
  • Drive training programs for procurement users and suppliers to ensure successful system adoption.

 

Compliance & Technical Oversight:

  • Ensure GDPR and procurement governance compliance.
  • Manage integration of Coupa middleware & PowerBI Extractor with SAP.
  • Work with IT teams to create a scalable procurement IT architecture.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

      •     5+ years of experience in project management, leading Coupa or procurement system implementations.

      •     Strong expertise in procurement transformation, supplier enablement, and spend analytics.

      •     Experience integrating Coupa with SAP ECC/S4HANA and middleware solutions.

      •     Proven ability to manage large-scale procurement system rollouts with multiple stakeholders.

      •     Strong background in change management, business adoption strategies, and procurement best practices.

      •     Fluent in English; German proficiency highly preferred.

      •     PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
