Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale, complex technology initiatives from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project management methodologies, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both business processes and technical solution delivery. This role will require working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project success within scope, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-related projects using Agile and/or hybrid project management frameworks.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Establish and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, risks, and issue resolution.
• Facilitate regular status meetings, executive briefings, and project reporting.

Agile Facilitation

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Development teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical deliverables.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies.
• Implement mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues as necessary.

Business Analysis Support

• Work with business analysts to interpret and document complex business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for development teams.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation including requirements, design documents, test plans, and post-implementation reviews.
• Maintain accurate records of business technology challenges, decisions, and solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience managing large, complex technology projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects using Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience working with software development lifecycles (SDLC), from requirements through deployment and support.
• Strong background in gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business and technical requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to address and resolve business technology challenges in dynamic environments.

Skills:

• Excellent leadership, facilitation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile/Project Management certifications.
• Experience with cloud-based technology initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with enterprise-level applications and integration projects.
