Responsibilities

  • PMO Leadership: Establish and lead the PMO, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for all projects within the interventional solutions business.
  • Project Governance: Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks tailored to interventional solutions projects.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and prioritization of projects based on strategic business objectives and operational needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor project performance, track milestones, and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance project delivery efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to project managers and team members on project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the medical device industry, with at least 4 years in a PMO leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and quality management systems applicable to medical devices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
