Job Description
Technical Project Coordinator oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of technical projects within an organization.
Project Planning: Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Creating detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
Resource Allocation: Assigning tasks to team members, ensuring the appropriate allocation of resources, and managing dependencies.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Communication: Facilitating communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. Providing regular progress updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
Quality Assurance: Monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Conducting reviews and tests as necessary.
Budget Management: Tracking project expenses and managing budgets to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change requests.
Coordination: Acting as a liaison between different teams or departments involved in the project, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment of efforts.
Problem-solving: Resolving conflicts, overcoming obstacles, and making decisions to keep projects on track and within scope.
Post-implementation Review: Conducting post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for future improvements.
Required Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years of working experience in project coordinator role.
Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team-building
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
In-depth knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Trello/Open Project, etc.
Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
