Programmer Support Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

Client is seeking an assistance of a Technical Analyst to augment the current technical support team.  The chosen individual’s work will be comprised of a mixture of steady state and project-based efforts.  These efforts include, but not limited to, maintaining and creating new SSRS reports, fixing errors in the systems, adding new features via PL/SQL store procedures, reprogramming sections of the systems for efficiency or security.

Activities include but are not limited to the following:

• SSRS Production support. This support may include assistance and investigation into SSRS reports or issues, and clarification on functionality. 
• All incidents and requests are logged and tracked
• Provide support to the business team for training and user acceptance testing
• Create and maintain document including standards, procedures, and specifications
• Write script to convert data based on new functionalities being added to the application.

Skills:

• A minimum of fifteen years (15) years of demonstrated IM/IT experience
• A minimum of ten (10) years with demonstrated experience as a Senior Programmer Analyst (programming and analysis).
• Demonstrated experience working with Provincial Health Care and/or Regional Health Authority applications.
• Demonstrated experience developing, documenting, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and creating new PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with JAVA.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux Batch Jobs
• Demonstrated experience with SSClient
