 Job Description

Develop and maintain MS SQL Server database used as a repository to store data, with heavy use of Microsoft Master Data Services (MDS)

Develop and maintain the Access-based application used to enter information stored in the SQL Server database

Analyze business requirement and functional specifications provided by the data specialist

Designing and developing SSIS(ETL) packages to validate, extract, transform and load data from different source to SQL Server 2014

Creating database objects such as Tables, Views, Store procedures, Triggers, Functions etc. using T-SQL to provide structure to store data and to maintain database efficiency

Incorporate significant error handling and logging to supplement existing SQL 2012/2014 SSIS logging, allowing processing to continue despite errors. Design provisioning model and process to incorporate transactional user provisioning requests into existing batch-fed environment

Schedule jobs for SSIS packages developed to update the database on a daily basis using SQL Server Agent

Integrating the front-end application (.net) with the SQL server backend. Establish Inner Join, Outer Join and created indexes whenever necessary

Work closely with the developers and testing team to resolve bug issues

Work with Operate team to resolve critical and high priority tickets and provide technical assistance

Education Qualifications-

Bachelor’s degree its equivalent in Computer Science or related technical fields
