Program Manager Tech 3

• Write Requirements and Functional Specifications for new and updated features
• Sprint planning for application updates
• Support engineering team stand up
• Ensure systems remain Secure and Compliant, and meet all standards
• Partner with engineering and stakeholder teams to plan and deliver on functional and user acceptance testing (UAT). Plan scope and scenarios, write UAT plan, communicate scope and requirements to testers and stakeholders, run daily triage, and send daily status reports.
• Work across all stages of product lifecycle from product definition, planning, release, modifications, maintenance, and feature deprecation
• Write weekly status reports
• Communicate planned and in-flight work

Ideal candidate experience:
• Several years of experience in technical program and project management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of product compliance requirements
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
• Ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders as part of a Technical PM team and as an individual with our partner team process, technical and business managers

A Technical PM is responsible for leading the planning and release process to design, build, and maintain software applications. They are expected to have a strong understanding of both program management and project management. 6+ years of relevant experience required.

• Years of Experience Required: 6 or more overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with no technical PM and quality communication/writing skills will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience with delivering technical software delivery at Microsoft.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and deadlines.

Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to support Business Planning within the org.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to launching Microsoft Azure and commercial pricing efficiently, accurately, and at speed.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of daily meetings, weekly status, regular requirements and specification.
