Description

The Program Manager within Microsoft Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) will play a key role in driving cross-functional project planning, execution, and communications to ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives. This role supports the technology services that underpin over 3,000 production applications, desktop and mobile productivity, and shared infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program & Project Execution
  • Coordinate and drive all aspects of planning and delivery with workstream leads and cross-functional teams.
  • Track and monitor status, risks, issues, and decisions (RAID), ensuring clear escalation and timely resolution.
  • Ensure deliverables align with program objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Maintain an audit trail of key project documentation including scope changes, assumptions, and decisions.
  • PMO Support & Reporting
  • Support status reporting, project plans, timelines, and ad-hoc executive-level updates.
  • Organize and facilitate recurring meetings, generate minutes, and drive accountability on follow-up actions.
  • Leverage tools (e.g. SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA) for tracking and dashboard reporting.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Storyboard and prepare program-level communications, summaries, and visuals.
  • Foster collaboration and maintain strong relationships with SMEs and stakeholders across business units.
  • Communicate complex technical and operational details in simple, concise language.
  • Continuous Improvement & Strategic Support
  • Identify and propose enhancements to project governance, documentation, and control processes.
  • Contribute to driving standardization and best practices across the project lifecycle.
  • Support change management initiatives and operational maturity programs such as ITSM and ITAM.


 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of project/program management experience, ideally in financial services or enterprise technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Strong understanding of Project Lifecycle (PLC) and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and solve complex issues.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience working across functional and geographically dispersed teams.


 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration platforms.
  • Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to document and redesign business processes
