- Provide production support for service integration and related applications.
- Handle incident management, service requests, and change management while ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Design and implement preventive health checks and monitoring tools to ensure high system availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex development and integration issues in production.
- Translate customer and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Interact regularly with business users and application teams to understand and support application functionality.
- Participate in daily status calls with stakeholders to discuss ongoing incidents, service requests, and JIRA items.
- Create and maintain documentation according to internal standards and procedures.
- Configure and maintain monitoring tools for proactive application health management.
- Participate in and sometimes lead maintenance and deployment activities.
- Provide shift support and demonstrate strong client-handling capabilities.
- Perform root cause analysis and suggest long-term fixes and preventive actions.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in Application Support (L2/L3) roles.
- Strong technical expertise in Java, HTTP methods, and web services.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Hands-on scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Perl.
- Proficient in writing and debugging SQL queries with experience in at least one RDBMS.
- Experience using Splunk, Jira, and Datadog for issue tracking and monitoring.
- Proficient in API log analysis and response debugging.
- Experience using Postman for API testing.
- Familiarity with AWS tools and technologies, including Kafka.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
