Production Engineer

Requirements for the Production Engineer:

• Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or similar degree in a field of Chemistry/Engineering (Required)
• 2+ years of Chemical Manufacturing or Engineering Experience (Preferred)
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs to four levels height in production areas.
• Frequent standing, reaching, bending, stretching, and walking may be required.
• Must constantly remain mentally alert.
• Must be able to wear respirator as needed.
• Must have (or be corrected to) 20/20 visual acuity. Must have good color perception.
• Occasional lifting up to 55 pounds is required.
• Must be able to understand and respond to instructions and alarms in the plant.
• Must be able to see, hear, and present clear presentations to small and large groups.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and normal levels of job stress.
• Must be available for irregular shift hours and frequent call-ins or callbacks.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds is required
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to understand and respond to instructions and alarms in the plant
