Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support digital transformation initiatives at Southwest Airlines. This onsite position in Dallas, TX requires a strategic thinker with strong Agile experience who can bridge business needs and technical execution to drive impactful product delivery.
As a Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, scrum teams, and UX/UI designers to shape and prioritize product backlogs that align with company goals and customer needs. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring product features are well-defined, delivered efficiently, and provide measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the voice of the customer and primary liaison between business and development teams.
Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for one or more Agile teams.
Translate business requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
Work with stakeholders to gather input, set roadmap priorities, and align on product vision.
Collaborate with developers, testers, and designers to deliver product features in iterative releases.
Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
Continuously assess product performance and make data-driven decisions to improve functionality and user experience.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a related Agile role.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and product lifecycle management.
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and product management platforms.
Proven track record of delivering products that meet user and business needs.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in the travel, airline, or transportation industry is a plus
