Description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient  with a strong background in AWS cloud services and Java development. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including developers, architects, and business stakeholders—to define and deliver product features that align with our strategic goals. This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities:Product Owner

  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog to ensure value-driven development.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to align feature development with backend systems (primarily in Java).
  • Understand and communicate technical concepts related to AWS infrastructure and cloud-native development.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Drive product vision and roadmap for cloud-based applications and services.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product increments while balancing scope, resources, and schedule.
  • Provide insights based on data and analytics to inform decision-making and prioritization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in Agile environments.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.
  • Technical background in Java development or experience working closely with Java engineering teams.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2–3 days onsite in Dallas, TX).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate).
  • Experience in enterprise-scale cloud migration or digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Previous experience in finance, insurance, or healthcare domains (if relevant)
