The Product Owner / Business Analyst will work on a web-based Java/Oracle application used by multiple agency divisions for contract management. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet project timelines. This role is ideal for a skilled Business Analyst/Product Owner with strong SQL, system reporting, and Agile project management skills, ensuring seamless delivery of complex Java/Oracle applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing requirements from stakeholders.
- Developing business requirement documents, user stories, and system designs.
- Coordinating demos, UAT, and code releases with technical teams.
- Providing system reporting, SQL analysis, and testing support.
- Ensuring smooth project execution in an Agile development environment.
- Offering on-call support as needed, depending on the project phase.

Required Experience:
- 8+ years – Business Analyst experience.
- 8+ years – SQL experience.
- 8+ years – System reporting using Oracle and SQL.
- 8+ years – Systems testing (Unit, Integration, UAT).
- 8+ years – Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
- 8+ years – Experience in the delivery of complex Java/Oracle applications.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years – Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- 2+ years – Project and/or Product Management experience.
- 2+ years – Expertise in prioritizing tasks and features to ensure teams focus on high-value deliverables.
- 2+ years – Experience with Jira
