Description

  • User Research
    • Conduct customer research (e.g., contextual inquiry, customer journey maps, moderated user testing); facilitate requirements workshops; manage stakeholder expectations based on CRM platform capabilities. If applicable, collaborate with UX/UI designer on interactive prototypes.
  • Requirements
    • Collaborate, document, clarify, and resolve business and non-functional requirements from ideation, design, development, testing, release, through support. Requires knowledge of CRM entities, tables, workflow triggers, and other functionalities using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service module.
  • User Story Development
    • Daily activities include writing epics, features, and user stories in Azure DevOps to include Acceptance Criteria / Conditions of Satisfaction (preconditions/positive and negative paths) and meeting with stakeholders to validate stories and capture sign-off.
    • Attendance (virtual) is required at daily Scrum Standup(s), iterative demonstrations, and Scrum ceremonies based on Arizona time zone, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
  • Demonstrations
    • Conduct product / service demonstrations to stakeholders and city leadership; provide guidance to business partners during User Acceptance Testing (often producing user guides); and ensure stakeholder sign-off at service demonstrations.
  • Soft Skills
    • Ability to think independently, creatively, and guide business partners in understanding their own business process. Demonstrate empathy for stakeholders in determining customer pain points and ability to use qualitative/quantitative data to determine Key Performance Indicators. Assist Principal Product Manager with benchmarks to measure benefits realization post-release.

Must Haves (Required)

  • Must be able to work on multiple service designs simultaneously and continuously update the product backlog.
  • Minimum three years of product related experience as either business analyst or product owner, preferably on a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
  • Must be fluent in English with exceptional writing and public speaking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.

Nice to Haves (Highly Desired)

  • Prefer hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service module, from ideation to implementation roll-out.
  • Prefer current holders of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Consultant certification and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner but not required.
  • Prior experience in user research is a plus but not required.
  • Preferred experience in organizational change management in dynamic, political environments.
  • Preferred demonstrated experience in an Agile Scrum development environment.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Azure DevOps for user story management is a plus
