Your Role:
Represent Strategic Procurement in NPI project meetings and ensure milestone deliverables.
Collaborate with R&D Engineers and Commodity Managers to align the development goals with commodity strategies.
Engage with cross-functional teams to Identify, evaluate and address product-related risks at an early stage of the product life cycle (including EOL, single/sole source, manufacturability, geographical location etc.)
Engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and Commodity Managers to ensure open communication and dedication to project success.
Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive cost reduction activities (VAVE, CR workshops)
Collaborate with R&D and SCM Engineers and Project Managers to define and manage procurement-related project requirements.
Provide constant project-level update to stakeholders and team members regarding NPIs - project schedule, supply chain changes, costs, etc.
Your Expertise:
Possess practical knowledge of Catheter design, manufacturing process, and related technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), PowerBI or KNIME, and familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
Work with our latest technology, necessitating your willingness to learn about new engineering approach and solutions.
Fluent in English (ideally as a native language, spoken and written) since you will interact with multinational colleagues; a foreign language proficiency is a plus, especially Korean language.
Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience, including R&D, manufacturing, NPI, procurement, finance in a catheter company preferred.
Excellent analytical skills and good judgment in assessing risks and control deficiencies, with confidence in suggesting practical alternative solutions.
Ownership, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
Professional certifications, e.g., CPA, MBA, CISSP, CIA are a plus.
