Principal Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of complex features and services with hands-on development.
• Write scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized code following industry best practices.
• Drive improvements and enhancements in existing systems and legacy codebases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with a practical and efficient problem-solving approach.
• Bridge the gap between system design and execution to ensure seamless delivery of features.
• Act as a subject matter expert, offering deep technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Champion coding standards, test automation, CI/CD practices, and performance monitoring.
• Provide hands-on mentorship to developers, elevating the team's technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
• Focus on outcomes that deliver real business value rather than purely theoretical designs.

Experience Requirement:

• 15-20 years of experience in front-end development.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior, staff, or principal engineer role driving implementation and system design.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, maintainable applications in production.
• Extensive experience optimizing legacy applications and improving performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex front-end challenges.
• Experience influencing architecture and engineering direction without relying on formal authority.
