Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale cloud infrastructure migrations
  • Architect and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep)
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native data and analytics platforms
  • Identify and resolve gaps in observability, performance, and cost efficiency across cloud environments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align on cloud standards, security, and governance
  • Define and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and deployment workflows
  • Serve as technical lead for incident response, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting
  • Support Agile delivery through Scrum ceremonies and cross-team coordination

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, DevOps, or software engineering with hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven leadership in enterprise-scale cloud migration initiatives
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, Docker)
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security best practices
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid architectures
  • Familiarity with FinOps, cost optimization strategies, and cloud governance
  • Knowledge of policy-as-code frameworks (OPA, Azure Policy, AWS Config)
  • Experience with observability tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite)
  • Exposure to service mesh architectures (Istio, Linkerd, AWS App Mesh)
  • Experience managing secrets and identity across cloud providers (IAM, Vault)

Certifications

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Required upon hire)
  • Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert (Preferred upon hire)
