Principal Data Engineer (Oracle Cloud HCM)

Job duties for the Engineer will include:

partnering closely with technology team members and clients to refine requirements and solution strategy for reporting related to the Learn module within Oracle, building custom reports using BI Publisher and OTBI, assisting and participating in the testing throughout implementation, documentation and knowledge transfer to support reports post go-live.

We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you’re looking for. The background does not need to be specific to the healthcare industry – experience/required skills is more important.

We’re looking for someone ideally who has experience with large employers similar to UHG, with at least 4 years' experience with BI Publisher report building as well as OTBI. We require deep Oracle HCM experience, but more specifically BI Publisher knowledge, as this individual will partner on the delivering the work outlined in their job duties and it is essential that they can do this work independently as well based on their prior experience.

What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)? Extensive Oracle Cloud HCM experience, specifically in the area of BI Publisher and OTBI but more broadly in having deep knowledge of the product overall, in particular the Learn module or overall HCM modules.
