Principal Architect

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning of product roadmaps.
• Capacity to have good vision of various product use case, customers, and deliveries
• Ability to build a strong network of contacts across the business.
• Agile communicator with the ability to influence decision makers and build consensus with teams.
• Provide mentorship to budding architects.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and methods of working to elevate the teams and improve the overall quality of the offering.
• Drive architectural consistency across product lines.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure successful product development by providing architectural guidance
• Ability to simulate and design for performance. Lead proof of concept for new technologies in microservices based applications
• Incorporate industry standards compliance where necessary (Alstom follows rail industry standards)

Skills Required:

• C# Net Core (mandatory)
• Microservices architecture (mandatory)
• Containerization (mandatory)
• ML (optional)
• CI/CD (optional)
• Background in microservices architecture
• Skilled in API, containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes), distributed and low latency systems
• Experience in frameworks/libraries relevant to technology stack
• Proficient in programming languages like C++, Python, Java, C#, JavaScript
• Good understanding of AI technologies, e.g. integration of AI/ML in software systems

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
